Pulsar Merger LRF XP35 Thermal Binoculars

The Pulsar Merger LRF XQ35 is as compact as a classic daytime binocular and ideal for hunting. As the lightest device in the series, the Merger LRF XQ35 is suitable for stalking and driven hunting. Thanks to the balanced weight distribution, these binoculars fit comfortably in the hand and enable comfortable and fatigue-free observations – even from uncomfortable positions.

The Merger LRF thermal imaging binoculars have the classic design of a daylight binocular. With their small form factor, these thermal imaging binoculars fit comfortably in the hand, yet offer an aesthetic appearance and exemplary ergonomics. The six function keys are easily accessible and the most frequently used digital functions are activated with a single touch.

The Merger LRF XQ35 is equipped with the highly sensitive Lynred sensor made in Europe < 25 mK NETD. Even under difficult observation conditions, when the contrast of the thermal image is low, it receives a signal. Even the smallest temperature differences become clearly visible in rain, fog and high humidity at the observation site.

When observing in the dark, all light sources must be darkened so that hunted animals are not frightened. The “Screen off” function in standby mode is a commonly used method to prevent light from the backlight from escaping from the eyepieces. To simplify this task, the Merger LRF has a built-in distance sensor. It serves as a screen switch to prevent light from the screens from escaping in the dark. When the device is removed from your eyes, the distance sensor turns off both screens, and when the device is brought closer, both screens are turned on, providing excellent image quality.

Use brightness and contrast settings to maximise the detail and clarity of the image under specific viewing conditions. The “User Mode” function allows you to save the selected brightness and contrast settings to the device’s memory. This means that the next time you use the thermal imaging camera, you will benefit from optimum image quality without having to make any additional settings.

The Merger LRF is designed for constant, often heavy use. The magnesium alloy housing is both light and stable. It reliably protects the internal components of the thermal imaging device from shocks, falls, moisture, heat and cold. At the same time, the metal housing effectively dissipates heat from the electronics and increases the stability of the device’s operation during long-term observations.

Correctly estimating the distance to the target object is an essential factor in making the right decisions. A built-in laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1 kilometre allows distance measurements in single measurement and continuous measurement modes with an accuracy of ± 1 metre for a quick and error-free assessment of the situation.

The Merger LRF is powered by two rechargeable batteries: a built-in one with a capacity of 4 Ah, a removable one with a capacity of 3.2 Ah. A single charge guarantees a long service life. There is an imprint on the outside of the replaceable battery to determine the correct position. This makes it possible to quickly and safely replace an empty battery with a new one in complete darkness by scanning it.

The selection of the signal gain level in combination with new filter algorithms with fine brightness and contrast settings offers the hunter great possibilities for long-range observation under different weather and temperature conditions. The gain adjustment helps to define the trophy characteristics of animals and ensures a clear representation of objects and background in the field of view.

The Merger LRF has a built-in video recorder. The internal memory of the Merger LRF can store hours of video footage and tens of thousands of photos. One press of a button is enough to take a photo of an interesting subject or start a video recording. The recordings are copied to the hard drive of a computer via a USB-C port. There is also 16GB of storage available to store photos and videos taken with the Merger LRF in Pulsar cloud storage. Simply instal the Stream Vision 2 mobile application, log in and connect the device to a smartphone via Wi-Fi.
